The National Park Service has released more details regarding a recent fatal grizzly bear attack. The victim was on a 10-day hunt for moose with a friend when the attack occurred. He called for help using a distress signal, and the Air National Guard coordinated a rescue. The hunter was found with puncture wounds and lacerations by emergency personnel when they arrived. He was taken to various medical facilities for treatment. As of Monday afternoon, authorities have not released the man’s name.
