Mountain View Alpaca Farm

After spending twenty years in Lamington National Park, Mountview Alpaca Farm has relocated to O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards. This beautiful location is just 6 minutes from Canungra town centre. Mountview is open to the public and visitors can interact with the alpacas in person unlike other alpaca farms. You can also purchase picnic baskets made from the vineyard or alpaca gifts.

Eco Rangers program

The Lamington National Park offers a variety of activities for children, including free ones. However, there are also some optional activities that can be paid for. A guided segway tour through rainforest can be a fun way to spend the day. Alternatively, the park offers a Birds of Prey Show, which is a great way to see the avian wildlife that lives in the park. Some of the species that you might see include owls, Wedge Tail Eagles, Black Kites and more.

Mountain Cafe

A visit to Lamington National Park in Queensland is a great opportunity to explore the cool, rainforest environment and wildlife. There are approximately 250 species of wildlife and more than 500 waterfalls. There are also 160 kilometres worth of walking trails. If you are in the area, you can visit Superbee Honeyworld, a beekeeping farm located just five minutes from the Gold Coast airport. The farm is home to millions of bees and features an extensive variety of honey products for purchase. You can also view a live bee show and sample honey.
