Things to Do For Kids in Positano

Positano is a great place to take your kids if you’re traveling with them. The city is not only romantic, but there are also plenty of things to see and do for your little ones. Positano offers many things, from pizzerias to museums and public parks to pizzerias.

Museo Archeologico Romano

The Museo Archeologico Romano, located beneath Santa Maria Assunta Church, is a well-preserved ruin from a Roman villa. Visitors can explore the ruins on a guided tour. In addition to the museum, there are many other interesting sights in Positano. The town is also home to numerous Saracen towers that served as signal towers during Saracen attacks.

Positano’s public park

For lunch or dinner, you can order from a full menu at any of the local restaurants. L’Incanto is located on Spiaggia Grande and has a seating area that overlooks the water.

Le Sirenuse Positano

Le Sirenuse has a Michelin-starred restaurant called La Sponda. This is a great place for a delicious meal with a beautiful view of the ocean. The restaurant is surrounded by lemon trees and beautiful candles, and the music is often Italian love songs, making it an ideal setting for a romantic dinner with your loved one. The restaurant is intended for adults, but children are welcome.

Ravello-Atrani Walk

Getting to Positano by bus is a good option if you are looking for a day out with your kids. From Amalfi, you can take the bus to Ravello. It leaves every half hour in the summer. You can buy a ticket at the tobacconist across the street.

Transport options

Positano has limited transportation options, but they are very affordable. Public buses run along the coast and cost 2.5 Euros one way. Buses can get jammed during peak season and lines can extend to the blocks. Alternatively, you can pay for parking at the local paid lots, which typically charge seven to ten Euros per hour.
